No to leisure centre cuts

219 of 500 signatures

Last year Labour handed control of eight leisure centres to a private company 'Better'.

Now Better are planning to close the cafés at half of those leisure centres. The cafés at Fairwater, Llanishen, Pentwyn and Western leisure centres will close.

The Labour council promised that the interests of staff and customers would be protected despite this privatisation. But now services are being cut and staff are losing their jobs.

Far from things getting better, they are getting worse.
