Eluned has lived or worked here in Cardiff for more than 20 years.
She helped hundreds of local people as our Assembly Member, building a reputation as someone who gets things done.
Eluned is fighting to prevent a disasterous hard Brexit, keeping Britain in the Single Market and protecting jobs in Cardiff.
Born in Abergavenny, Eluned moved to Cardiff to go to University, where she studied for a degree in Music and met her husband Daniel.
After graduating, Eluned worked for the science discovery centre Techniquest and National Youth Arts Wales promoting Cardiff and Wales, Eluned then to Cardiff University to manage their community outreach programmes.
Eluned and Daniel have two children, William and Emily.
"The country I see before me, after the Brexit referendum, isn’t one I want my children to grow up in. It’s not open, it’s not tolerant, it’s not united.
"I don’t believe it has to stay that way.
"That’s why I am standing to be your MP; to change things for the better, to win a more open, tolerant and united future for my children and for all our communities.
"If that’s what you want too, this is your chance to get it.
“It’s your chance to change the direction of the country. It’s your chance to reject a disastrous hard Brexit, your chance to keep Britain in the Single Market, and your chance get a decent opposition."
