Balti Empire Restaurant is Highly Commended in the Tiffin Cup 2012

The Balti Empire restaurant from Cardiff Central has been Highly Commended in the prestigious Tiffin Cup competition.

Balti Empire will receive a certificate and embroidered Tiffin Cup 2012 chef jacket to mark their achievement in this year's competition.

The Tiffin Cup champion will be chosen from a shortlist of 13 restaurants, each representing their region of Britain, on Wednesday 27th June 2012 in the Grand Final cook-off in the House of Commons.

The Balti Empire of Cardiff Central was registered by Jenny Willott MP.

Keith Vaz MP, co-chair of the Tiffin Cup, said:

"We are delighted that Balti Empire has been Highly Commended in the Tiffin Cup 2012. This is a great tribute not just to the nomination of local MP Jenny Willott, but also to the constituency of Cardiff Central as a whole."
