Jenny Willott, MP for Cardiff Central, has criticised the Welsh Government for not being honest about a four-year deal involving a hospitality box at the Millennium Stadium.

Suites at the stadium cost between £26,400 and £117,600 a year. Jenny believes taxpayers have a right to know how their money is being spent.

The purchase was given the go ahead by First Minister Carwyn Jones and Business Minister Edwina Hart. They claim it will be used to target companies who have an interest in Wales. The Welsh Government refuses to say how much has been spent on this deal.

Jenny Willott, MP for Cardiff Central added: "Welsh taxpayers have a right to know how the Welsh Labour Government is spending their money and whether that money is being spent wisely.

"We need to be assured that, rather than simply going towards a ministerial jolly, this money was spent to the benefit of Wales and that there was a significant return on its investment. Once again this evasive Welsh Labour Government is refusing to operate in an open and transparent manner."
