Jenny Willott MP with an official Rugby World Cup 2015 ballAs tickets go on sale for the Rugby World Cup 2015 Jenny Willott, the Liberal Democrat MP for Cardiff Central, is delighted that games will be played at the Millennium Stadium and urges residents to apply for tickets before they go.

Between September 12th and 29th up to 1 million tickets for the Rugby World Cup 2015 will go on sale to the public. Tickets for all 48 matches will be available during this window, with prices starting at £7 for children and £15 for adults. General ticket sales will be on an application basis with any oversubscribed matches balloted.

Commenting, Jenny Willott MP, said:

"Cardiff is the only place outside England where Rugby World Cup 2015 matches will be played and I am delighted that the Millennium Stadium is the venue that will be used.

"The Rugby World Cup is one of the greatest tournaments in the sporting calendar and Wales can be proud to be playing a key role. Cardiff is a fantastic city, which people from all over the world can visit and enjoy.

"Let's hope with lots of home support, Wales can go one better than four years ago and reach the Final!"
