We all know that the junction of Crown Way and Whitchurch Road isn't safe enough for pedestrians and cyclists; that's why we supported plans to make the junction safer.
Plans brought forward by Cardiff Council were delivered without a full investigation into how the scheme would work in practice, meaning bollards introduced to slow traffic down have now been removed.
That means Cardiff Council spent £25,000 on a road safety scheme that just doesn't do the job it's meant to do.
It simply isn't good enough. We're calling for pedestrian safety measures to be installed to make the junction safer for everyone.
Back our campaign today.
