No to Tredegar development: Local councillors Nigel Howells and John Dixon are opposing the current plans to convert the Tredegar into 10 flats.

The Adamsdown Liberal Democrat Focus Team are asking residents to help them to oppose the current plans to convert the Tredegar into 10 flats.

Cardiff Council's Planning Committee are due to visit the site at 3.45pm on Monday 11th June - and the Adamsdown Focus Team want to send them a message.

A developer has put in an application to redevelop the Tredegar site into 10 flats - but there will be no parking provided as part of the development.

Local Lib Dem Cllr Nigel Howells said, "We oppose these plans because they don't provide any parking for the cars that the owners of these flats will no doubt have. Parking around this area is already unacceptable and these plans will make the situation much worse."

Cllr John Dixon added, "The site visit is a really good chance for local residents to show the committee what they think of the application. If you agree with us and want to oppose these plans then please display the poster on the reverse of the special edition of Focus being delivered to roads around Clifton Street in your window."

Following the visit, the Planning Committee will then discuss the application again on Wednesday 20th June at 2.30pm.

Your Adamsdown Liberal Democrat councillors will continue to fight this application and will speak against the plans at the Planning Committee.
