North Grangetown improvements well underway
Work on improving the area around Cornwall Street, Court Road and Clive Street is progressing well, despite a drop in the cash available. However Council officers are working hard to make every pound stretch as far as possible.
Local Lib Dem Councillor Francesca Montemaggi said, "We are going through tough times. Sadly, money has been cut for regeneration, Council staff are working hard to improve as many things as possible.
"The regeneration of this area has been a huge success and has already made a big improvement to the north side of Grangetown including through roads and pavements being resurfaced, new trees planted and the exterior of many of the terraced streets have been spruced up.
