90% of residents surveyed by the Gabalfa Focus Team have supported the campaign for more resident-only parking in the area.
Local residents have backed the Gabalfa Focus Team's battle for more resident-only parking in streets around Clodien Avenue.
During the summer, Councillors Gareth Holden and Ed Bridges sent questionnaires to properties in nearby streets seeking residents' views on parking and rat-running around Clodien Avenue, Allensbank Primary School and other nearby streets.
Cllr. Gareth Holden said: "We received a large number of responses, with over 90% of residents agreeing that parking was a problem and calling for more resident-only bays."
Cllr. Ed Bridges added: "Three-quarters of residents also said that they wanted something to be done about rat-running in the area, with a 20mph zone the most popular option."
Gareth and Ed have sent the results of their survey to Cardiff Council and asked for a full response to the issues raised.
