Jenny Willott, the Liberal Democrat MP for Cardiff Central, has been visited at the Houses of Commons by students from Cardiff and Vale College.
The students were taken on a tour around the Houses of Parliament before quizzing their local MP on politics and matters concerning their local area.
Some of the issues raised in the discussion were devolution, funding to improve local transport and the voting system.
Commenting, Jenny Willott MP, said:
"It was a pleasure to welcome students from the Cardiff and Vale College to Parliament and talk to them about variety of different issues.
"There were plenty of questions and they all showed a real interest in our local area and the future of our country. I hope they enjoyed their day and now have a better understanding of how Parliament works, and I hope they can see that through politics they can make a difference."
