Re-open the Heath Park café

Kathryn Lock, the Welsh Liberal Democrat candidate for the Heath by-election on 11 November, is calling on Cardiff Council to take action to re-open the café in Heath Park. It has failed to open up again after lockdown was lifted earlier in the year.

She has launched a petition so local people can add their support to the campaign.

Kathryn said: “We are blessed to have a such a lovely park here in Heath, but it is important to ensure we retain all its facilities.

“It has been a shame not to see the café re-opened, and I want to ensure Cardiff Council knows that the local community wants to see that addressed. We need to ensure the Labour-run council doesn’t forget about the local area.

“If you agree, please sign the petition below which I will present to the council.”

I/we, the undersigned, call on Cardiff Council to take steps to ensure the café in Heath Park is re-opened as a facility for the local community.
