Rhys Taylor, Ashley Wood and the local Liberal Democrats are calling on Cardiff Council to take action to deal with the repeated blocking of access to Maelog Place.
Residents will be familiar with the issues caused by vehicles blocking the narrow access road to Maelog Place. Bin lorries and delivery vans are frequently unable to access Maelog Place due to inconsiderate parking, resulting in missed bin collections and other inconveniences for residents. If an emergency service cannot gain access residents lives may even be put at risk. We are therefore calling on Cardiff Council to take action and introduce double yellow lines along the narrow access road and to ensure they are enforced.
We, the undersigned, call on Cardiff Council to introduce and enforce 'double yellow line' parking restrictions along the access road to Maelog Place to prevent blocking of access by inconsiderate parking.
