Improve Cycling in Roath

Too often the needs of cyclists are ignored. Cycling is a healthy and environmentally friendly way to get around our city, we need to make it safer and easier.

While other parts of Cardiff are getting investment to create new safe cycling routes, Roath has been left out of the Labour Council's plans.

Prospective MP Dr Bablin Molik and the local Lib Dems demand better. We have a 3-point plan to make cycling in Roath much easier and safer:

  • Increased capacity at Nextbike stations in Roath and improved availability of bikes.

  • Add Roath to the planned 'cycle superhighway' network with a new route up through Penylan and Pentwyn.

  • Improve cycle lanes and infrastructure on key routes throughout our area.
