Save the Clifton Street TSB

Adamsdown councillor Nigel Howells, Cardiff Central Senedd candidate Rodney Berman and the local Liberal Democrat team are leading the fight to save the TSB bank on Clifton Street.

Following the recent announcement that TSB intend to close Adamsdown’s only remaining bank, Nigel has already contacted the bank to ask them to reverse this decision.

Nigel said: “This is a bitter blow for Clifton Street and for the residents of Adamsdown. This bank is a vital lifeline for many of our local businesses and elderly residents, some of whom aren’t able to do online banking.

“Over recent years we have seen the NatWest Bank on Splott Road and the Lloyds Bank on City Road both close and it is getting increasingly difficult for residents and businesses to do their banking in person."

Rodney added: “It just seems that once again, the big banks are prepared to turn their backs on the most deprived communities.”

If you want to help Nigel, Rodney and the Lib Dem team in their campaign to save the TSB bank on Clifton Street just sign our petition below.

I oppose the closing of the TSB bank on Clifton Street as it provides a vital service for many residents and businesses who otherwise will be left without a bank.
