Drivers use the upper part of Waterloo Road as a rat-run to avoid traffic lights at the junction of Pen-y-lan Road and Colchester Avenue. It results in heavy traffic use on Dorchester Avenue and roads to the east of Waterloo Road, despite the presence of access-only signs, which are routinely ignored and unenforced.
We, the undersigned, call on Cardiff Council to implement a low-cost scheme to deter traffic from accessing Dorchester Avenue and Winchester Avenue from Pen-y-lan Road.
