People across Llanrumney have told the local Lib Dem team that crime and anti-social behaviour is their top concern - and local campaigner Wayne Street has a plan to tackle the growing problem.

Vandalism, drug dealing and off-road bike riding have all been raised through the Lib Dems’ recent residents’ survey as regular
issues around our area.

“These aren’t new problems in our area, but they’ve been getting worse for some time,” said local campaigner Wayne Street. “It’s
time we saw some action.”

Wayne and the Lib Dems want to see more visible policing in the area, particularly around the Countisbury Avenue shops. They also want to meet regularly with local police, making sure they prioritise tackling the concerns of local people.

“Local Labour councillors have had years to sort out these issues, yet it’s clear people here feel things are getting worse,” said Lib
Dem Senedd candidate Rodney Berman.

“Lib Dem councillors are known for being hardworking local champions for their areas, rolling up their sleeves and getting things done. I know Wayne would be exactly that kind of councillor for Llanrumney.”
