Red Balwn Coch - Stop the conversion to a HMO

The former nursery Red Balwn Coch, at the bottom of Circle Way East, has closed and the owners have submitted a planning application to convert the building into a House of Multiple Occupancy with 9 bedrooms.

The Pentwyn and Llanedeyrn Focus Team Cllr Dan Naughton, Cllr Joe Carter and Irfan Latif are opposing this application and we would encourage other people to do the same. It is a large old house, but there is not enough communal space to have 9 adults living here, or 18 if there were couples. We think this is a flawed application and we urge the planning department to reject it.
