Wayne Street is Lib Dem candidate for Llanrumney by-election

Local resident Wayne Street has been announced as the Liberal Democrats' candidate for the upcoming council by-election in Llanrumney.

Wayne has lived in Llanrumney for over 10 years with his young daughter, and works from home as an electronic engineer. He’s seen how Llanrumney has been left behind by years of a Labour-run Cardiff Council, but also worries about Reform UK and their candidate from miles away bringing their divisive politics to our area.

“People round here rightly feel like they’ve been left behind for years,” said Wayne. “The last thing we need is Reform UK - a party that doesn’t have our area’s interests at heart.

“I want to be your next councillor to fight for a better future for everyone who lives in our community.”

Working with Senedd candidate Rodney Berman and a strong group of Lib Dem councillors who get things done for their areas, Wayne is the best choice to deliver the change we need in Llanrumney.
