Liberal Democrats in Cardiff are demanding Cardiff Council draws up an action plan for Roath Park Lake amid signs that an algal bloom may be returning there for the third summer in a row.
Rodney Berman, Welsh Liberal Democrat councillor for Penylan and lead candidate for South Wales Central for the 2021 Senedd elections, has raised fears after signs that an algal bloom may once again have started to form on the surface of the northern section of the lake in the past few days.
